Collection: The Fantasy Cottage Collection.
This is a fun painting, inspired by my love thatched roof cottages, and the once upon a time story book setting. I've done quite a few of these in my time, one being a Christmas present for my Grandma back in 1972. My mom loved it so much I painted her one for Mother's Day in 1973.
With this painting I wanted the viewer to feel like they just jumped into the middle of a fairy tale story, and they are walking down this path to meet some interesting character who lives there. You can close your eyes and step into an ideal retreat from reality and the routine world when you visit the Fantasy Cottage.
