Collection: Flash Gordon Fantasy Collection
The idea to make my Flash Gordon fantasy painting came from a 1969 magazine called Monsters and Heroes. The picture was in black and white and didn't show the top of the castle. I held on to that for 10 years before finally doing a water color painting in 1979 where I made my own futuristic castle, 2 moons, and added on more pinnacles and weird rock formations to make it look more like another plane. Then in the early 2000's I went back and revised it into what it is today.
