Story Time:
As they say "hindsight is 20/20" as I sit here in my 70's now I have the benefit of reflection. I've had the amazing opportunity to live my life as a gypsy artist, allowing me to be inspired by so many sights. I've had the pleasure of experiencing this big wonderful country from one end to the other and I was even able to wonder around in our Canadian neighbor's backyard a bit. I've seen so many beautiful and wonderful sights on my journeys.
Nothing has made time stand still for me more than when you look up to see the setting sun and it's majestic flames as they scorch across the sky. The clouds rushing in as if they were trying to extinguish a towering inferno.
It was in one of these rare moments of silence, when time stands still that we get the inspiration for "The Monarch of the North." The moose climbing up to the peninsula to behold the beauty of the flames as they dance across the lit up sky. This is a moment where time stood still, and I humbly bring it here to share it with you!
